SUMMER LEAGUE 2025

• Our biggest annual social event for players of all squash levels will begin on Tuesday 2nd September 2024 and continue until 6th December 2024. Summer League will break for the Term 3 school holidays 4 to 12 October and resume on the 14th of October 2025.
• Teams will consist of 6 players of a varying squash playing level of which at least one player must be a Lady. Minimum age is high school learners.
• Although Teams will compete for prizes - but more importantly bragging rights - it is all about having fun and getting more people playing squash. The SL Committee reserves the right to change player's levels or entered teams if needed to stay with the Summer League ethos of having fun rather than merely winning.
• Participation open to all Fish Hoek Squash Club members and any friends, colleagues, family and others. Squash players of ALL LEVELS are welcome as each team will have players ranked from 1 to 6 i.e. 1 plays 1, 2 plays 2, etc.
• Entries close on 22 August 2025 – so get your mates, partners, colleagues or anybody else involved. Even better - source a sponsor and make up a team!
• Cost of individual entry is R350. Sponsorships cost R3 000 per team which includes the individual entry fee for the team members. Lights, 2 balls for each team and a Summer League branded playing shirt is included. Sponsors names will be added where applicable.
• Tuesdays/Thursdays are match nights - 1 match per week. Play begins at 18h00 and all matches (best of 5 par 11) to be played on scheduled dates. If not available on a specific match day, you must arrange a Reserve to play for you - NO postponements will be possible.
• The Braai fires will be lit to finish off the evening with some good social interaction and banter.
