Monthly Social "Box" Squash

Join this WhatsApp group to meet other members and have regular games.

This is a "rolling" event where members join to meet other members and get regular game time. Players are allocated to pools of 5 players each of similar strength which guarantees 4 matches a month - at their own convenience.

This is a very flexible system to accommodate our busy lifestyles - yet ensuring opponents to play against within each month.

No more "searching" for an opponent to play squash😃 You will be added to a pool where you merely need to contact the other players in the pool for a game within the month at your convenience.

Squash 57 is also welcomed if the opponent agrees - the default being squash though.

• Play best of 5 games PAR 15 (Squash57 = PAR 11) or win by 2 points. (scores therefore 3/0, 3/1 or 3/2 only)
• Enter the number of games you won in the row of your name and in the corresponding column of your opponent. 
• If your opponent is injured or cannot play within the month, write up a 3/0 win for yourself. Contact another player in your Pool to schedule the next match and repeat until all matches have been played.
• PLEA: Everyone participating in this event is expecting to meet and play 4 matches during the month. Barring injuries or crises, please make every effort to play all your matches - it is only fair to the others and yourself.
• The squashlevels APP is used to allocate points and generate the next months Boxes - details https://app.squashlevels.com/
• Participants are encouraged to register with squashlevels to assist the process and follow progress.
• Comment: After the "promotion/relegation" of the previous round, we try to slot in new players by strength in the Pools. If we get it wrong, spend the time learning from or sharing your experience. You will move up or down in the next round. The focus is on playing, enjoying and expanding squash amongst us.
• The leader of each Pool at the end of the month gets R100 lights credit. T&Cs - "winner" must play all matches of the Pool within the month.
• Parents of Juniors take and remain fully responsible to arrange matches and for the supervision of the Juniors during the matches. Juniors MUST play with protective glasses.
