Lights Activation & Court Bookings
A guide to making your first booking
Before you can play squash you will need credit on your lights account, which may be purchased online via the gobook.co.za website or purchased from Terry at the bar when it is open
*Note that you will have to register on GoBook first (with a separate username and password) and then link your FHSC Membership number and PIN so that you can view, book and cancel transactions
By default, Lights are activated for 45 minutes per session. You may shorten this period at the time of activation or extend it to a maximum of 60 minutes if there is now booking after your session.
Once activated, you may terminate the lights session if you cannot complete the full 45 minute session
Ensure that you have sufficient funds in your lights account. Your lights account balance is displayed once you have accessed your account (also available in GoBook) - if the balance is in red text, you will need to buy more lights credit before your next session

Bookings and Court Activations at the Club
Accessing your account to make a booking or activate a court is done at main computer. Logging in may be done biometrically using the fingerprint reader, or manually entering your Member and PIN numbers (provided via email to you when you join) using the keypad
Use arrow keys (8 = Up, 4 = Left, 6 = Right, 2 = Down) to navigate. Use hash key (#) to enter/confirm or asterisk (*) to escape/cancel.
One can now either switch on court lights immediately or make booking for a future date and time.
To activate a court
Select a court which is not booked or being currently used.
Select Start Time and Duration of game.
Your opponent can use their fingerprint or enter their Pin. (If no opponent pin is used, a visitor account will be used. Each member has 1 free visitor use per week. R80 is the cost of sharing with a "visitor" if no more visitor uses are available.)
Select to either share costs or not.
Court is now activated
If you would like to alter the current booked court, select the court which is currently active
When done, press the escape (* key) to log out of booking screen
You can also select Display future bookings to see your upcoming booked courts, or View light account transactions to see your usage and financials
